A Brief Thought On Suitability Reports

Report writing is a vital part of the advice process as it is your opportunity to document the recommendations being made.

Structure and concise content are important to ensure that your reports are not only compliant with FCA requirements but are easily read and understood by your clients.

A good suitability report provides clear links between the clients needs and objectives to your recommendations, with an explanation as to why these have been met; Highlights any risk and disadvantages of the recommendations; and uses language which is personal to the client following any relevant discussions that have been held.

We take all this into consideration when building client reports, without providing surplus information which could be confusing to your clients.

Each report can incorporate your own branding, colours, and logo to maintain your individual style.
